HCB will always be a space open to the community, accessible to the public and lived at the city's pace. We can't take the hub out of the neighbourhood, and we don't want to take the neighbourhood out of the hub.

With a tradition of workmen and industry, Beato is still, more and more, a site of doers who are now creatively producing new routines, absorbing and rehabilitating the traditions, the material and immaterial heritage of its people of all times. Geographically and historically aligned with the neighbouring district of Marvila, it is a vibrant focal point of the city.
