“Cheira a Farinha a Oriente de Lisboa”
As portas da antiga Moagem da Manutenção Militar irão abrir-se e dar a conhecer as suas maravilhas tecnológicas durante a Semana da Cultura Científica.
Na visita guiada “Cheira a Farinha a Oriente de Lisboa”, iniciativa promovida pela EGEAC e pelo Museu de Lisboa, os participantes poderão viajar no tempo e descobrir que a Fábrica de Moagem ainda guarda a essência da Manutenção Militar, o lugar onde o cheiro da farinha era uma das características mais evidentes quando se chegava a este grande complexo de 35.000 m2.
Um visita enriquecedora que permitirá observar uma fábrica com todas as suas máquinas, de várias épocas, proporcionando a realização de uma experiência única em Portugal.

“Smells like Flour in the East of Lisbon”
The doors of the former Military Maintenance mill factory will open and reveal its technological marvels during the Scientific Culture Week.
On the guided tour “Smells like Flour in the East of Lisbon”, an initiative promoted by EGEAC and the Museum of Lisbon, participants will be able to travel back in time and discover that the Milling Factory still retains the essence of Military Maintenance, the place where the smell of flour was one of the characteristics more evident when arriving at this large complex of 35,000 m2.
An enriching visit that will allow visitors to observe a factory with all its machines, from different eras, providing a unique experience in Portugal.
